Join us on Thanksgiving morning for an on-time start of 9am. This family tradition has been recognized by Runner's World Magazine as one of the nation's "Best Hometown Favorite" holiday runs. Last year over 7,500 runners and walkers joined the fun and each was rewarded with a fresh pumpkin pie. The Columbus Turkey Trot was the very first in Central Ohio way back in 1986 and continues to be the best and biggest all because of you! The Chase Turkey Trot offers your choice of two distances including a 5-mile run and the more casual and family-friendly "Walk N' Talk. Kids can participate too! The Dick's Sporting Goods Tot Trot 100 yard dash is a huge hit for kids 9 and under. Each participant will receive a great looking (long sleeve) dry-fit, three-quarter zip shirt, one of a kind finisher's medal, chip timing and goody bag items. Additionally, EVERY PARTICIPANT will take home a delicious pumpkin pie! Columbus Turkey Trot is proud to partner with Easterseals Central and Southeast Ohio and their Early Intervention program which provides hands-on, comprehensive support to help children reach their full potential--regardless of challenges, needs or disabilities.
